I gained about ten pounds over 12 months due to a combination of careless eating habits and side effects from prescriptions. Even though I was still “small” I wanted to fit in my clothes again and have more confidence teaching my dance fitness classes.
Knowing how to consume the proper balance of protein, carbs, and fat in every meal kept me full, and the water curbed my appetite. The concept of a Strong Snack was a lifesaver! I needed to give up my daily glass of wine – that was difficult. But after a while I found that I didn’t really miss it. The biggest thing for me was being educated on how much to eat and when. Believe it or not, I wasn’t eating enough! Nor was I eating a combination of foods that would keep me full over several hours.
I definitely recommend this…especially for people that are having a hard time losing that last 5-10 pounds. I lost those 10 pounds and I can tell a difference – that is what matters most. And it feels good!
