Reducing my sugar intake and retraining my body to not crave sugar were the most helpful and transforming parts of the countdown for me. I don’t miss the sugar highs and lows, or the guilt that came with giving in to temptation. I feel in control of my food intake, instead of food controlling me. I enjoy eating well and I also enjoy strategic splurges. I am losing weight and inches and love living on purpose.
