I was working out regularly without any progress losing the weight I had gained while pregnant. I knew that a guided nutritional plan was my missing link.
I joined the Best Body Countdown and lost 23 pounds, and dropped from a size 12 to a size 4. I learned how to plan nutritious and delicious meals by following the Best Body Cookbook and Menu Plan. I was slightly overwhelmed at first, but I decided to dive full in and it was the best decision I made! I can be a picky eater, but discovered that I like foods I thought I hated. All of the meals were delicious! The recipes explained how much of each item to serve which was very helpful, too. The biggest impact on my progress was meal planning, having the right kinds of foods in my pantry, and eating two non-starchy vegetables at two meals daily. TIP: Take advantage of grocery pick up. It helps planning and saves you time!
The most challenging aspect for me was fitting in exercise with my busy lifestyle, but I gained strength and pushed myself further with my exercise routine.
This program works, and the sense of community within the Facebook group was wonderful!
