I began the Countdown to Your Best Body because I had hit a plateau on my weight loss journey that I had started over five years ago. Even though I was able to keep most of it off, I saw my weight slowly creeping in the wrong direction. After I had my two children, I knew I didn’t want them to go through some of the challenges that I had faced during my childhood…I wanted to show them a healthy and active lifestyle. Since I started about four months ago, I have lost 27 pounds and 11 inches (waist, hips, and thighs).
Having great support from my husband and others from the Best Body Countdown who were trying to reach the same goal impacted my progress. Having a group of people to encourage and support you along your life changing journey makes a huge difference in your success.
The Countdown to Your Best Body helped me to succeed and I would definitely recommend this book for others who need to lose weight or to get their health back. I still follow the principles I have learned. If I have an off day, I realize tomorrow is a new day.
